Green Congregation Project

The Green Congregation Project is designed to move the Petoskey congregation toward becoming ever more "green" in its actions. The purpose of this committee is to review and implement the steps outlined in the Green Sanctuary Manual (which we are ordering from the UUA), and adjust them to our specific congregation.

The Green Congregation Committee is chaired by Jessica Dotzlaf and is open to all who want to participate. Meeting times will be decided when the committee is formed. If you are interested please contact Jessica at jdotzlaf@yahoo.com Her cell number is 231-350-0926. There will also be an announcement at the Oct 7, 2007 service inviting people to membership. Members who have indicated an interest at this time are Marla Houghtelling, Tom Beukema, and Mark Kinney. A listserv is available. For information about joining the listserv please send an email to either Jessica at jdotzlaf@yahoo.com of Mark Kinney at Mark Kinney. Jessica gave the service on February 17, 2008. A survey was shared with the congregation which is available Moving forward as a Green Congregation: What can I do? What can we do?
