Petoskey Unitarians and visitors from as far away as Texas held a service for blessing and remembrance pets at the congregation’s property on Wildwood road. Dogs and cats in attendance made for a lively service.  Many attending brought pictures and shared remembrances of past animal companions and anedcotes about current ones.

Organized by Marla the service included an opportunity for individual pet owners to bring forward their companions and read a blessing for them.  The weather cooperated, and it was a beautiful day at Wildwood.
