July 2 – Annual Freedom Picnic Potluck

Our annual Freedom Picnic will be at the residence of Diane and John Lake beginning at 12 noon.  Please bring a dish to share, a beverage if you wish, a chair, table service, kayaks, beach shoes, etc.  All are welcome.

August 13 – Water Communion

Bring a small amount of water from a place that is special to you. One by one we’ll pour our water together into a large bowl, each person telling why this water is special. The combined water is symbolic of our shared faith coming from many different sources. Rev. Deb Hansen will lead our service.

October 8 – Greed and Its Affects on Our Personal, Religious and Economic Lives

We’ll explore the personal, religious, familial, social and economic affects of Greed – as a part of evolutionary development; cultural differences; and both negative and positive results in all social strata. Our speaker shares experiences in multi-national corporations, local, state and national government, and religious studies. Next Sunday we’ll discuss the topic in depth. (Roger S)
