The selection for our July 28 meeting is The Wild Edge of Sorrow: Rituals of Renewal & the Sacred Work of Grief by Francis Weller.

The Wild Edge of Sorrow narrowly prevailed over Stolen Focus: WhyYou Can’t Pay Attention – & How to Think Deeply by Johann Hari; so someone might want to re-nominate the work for our October gathering.   When i order my copy of The Wild Edge of Sorrow at McLean & Eakin here in Petoskey, as usual i’ll suggest that they stock a few more copies.

As always, i think we all would prefer more than 4 nominations for October.  If you’ve read or heard about some book which seems timely, worthwhile, etc., please let me know about it before you forget it.  Non-fiction only, of course.
